A piyyut (canticle), composed in 31 stanzas by Moyse (Moïse) Ensheim, offered in support of the French Revolution by the Jewish community of Metz on 21 October 1792. A loose "translation" of the piyyut in French by Isaïah Berr Bing follows.
This work is cross-posted to the Open Siddur Project where it is the subject of a collaborative translation initiative.
